I had a great time up at glengyle beautifull scenery great fresh air good bike riding super accommodation and being at the shore of the mighty loch katrine just topped it off, and being a MacGregor well just felt right at home, thanks again mate, sure to return for another taste of paradise.

Sorry it's taken me so long to send you some feedback! Work has been hectic since we got back.
It was great to speak to you after our stay, and glad to hear how pleased you were to hear our positive feedback.
Thank you again so much for making our holiday this year so lovely. You really had thought of everything when it came to the apartment. We never expected to find such a modern, well finished lodge in such an isolated location. It gave us the best of both worlds; enjoying the countryside during the day, and coming home to such comfort and luxury in the evening. It was like a home from home. We also enjoyed the drive to and from the lodge along such a beautiful, scenic but private road. It was a priviledge worth paying for in itself. We have already recommended Glengyle to friends and family, who themselves have passed the details on just off the pictures and stories of our stay. We hope that we can come again and that you get some custom from our recommendations. We would also really recommend Katrinewheelz bike hire at the Trossachs Pier - we had a great day out around the Loch on a tandem bike, and the guys at the shop are lovely.

WHY IT'S WORTHWHILE TO STAY AT GLENGYLE COTTAGES.
Do you know what astonishments are waiting for you in Glengyle Cottages?
First is the atmosphere of historical events. The famous Scottish hero Rob Roy was born here. Just at your apartment was his birthplace; you can touch the history!
Second - do you know from where you get the water in your kitchen and bathroom? Just from natural streams going down from mountains surrounding the cottages. One lady said "My hair is so fluffy and lush after washing in that water". You can try it!
Third - landscape therapy! The cottages are surrounded with the fir-trees, limes, birch and aspen forest. Fresh, odorous, sweet air is the perfect addition to the quietness and tranquility of the place. You can smell it!
Forth is that cottages are on the Loch bank where you can fish for brown trout and pike. You can eat it!

Hi Davie,
Me and Samantha wanted to write a short note of appreciation and pass on our thanks for our recent stay at McGregor and Jacobite. We had a fantastic relaxing time during our stay. The accomodation is first class from top to bottom, all the facilities, fittings, equipment and finishing touches are of the highest standard. We are regular visitors to the English lakes and our stay at Glengyle was the best we have ever experienced. We loved everything about the place and its settings. I sensed that you were disappointed when we had a few small problems but they really were small matters and in no way did they affect our stay. The way that you responded to these matters was really appreciated, in fact it really enhanced our stay and we could both see how hard you are working to make your guests stay so enjoyable. We will definately be back. You are very welcome to use any of my comments as a testamony if you wish.

Dear Davie.
l felt compelled to write and let prospective holidaymaker's know what a wonderful time they will have at your, 'no expense spared' holiday homes.
It was great to meet you in person, and l thankyou for giving me a guided tour of the other cottages. As a fellow builder and designer, l can appreciate how expensive this whole project has cost even down to the fittings and furnishings,(no cheap swedish furniture here).Which reminds me you must update the photo gallery on your website, as all cottages now have curtains, pictures and pretty decor making them all feel like a "home from home". l particularily liked the new contemporary patio furniture, we stayed in the MacGregor, but any of the other cottages would have been perfect.
We have a short break due in July, but we are having difficulty finding another cottage, as NOTHING compares to glengyle, we are organising our dates for october as we want to return asap.
We wish you, your business partner and your wives all the very best on your venture, you all deserve it.

a great holiday
hi davie, we stayed in glengyle from the 19th of june for 1 week, and would just like to say what a fantastic time we had. we where well impressed with the high standard of accomadation we recevied, and would well recommend you to any future visitors. on meeting yourself we can only say it was a pleasure to meet such a welcoming, friendly and laid back person as your self, especially as you gave me the use of your fishing tackle and boat, i never managed to get the boat out, but we will most certainley be visiting again next year, so hopefully then i will have a day to spend on the loch. once again thanks for a great week, steve trace and our little dog jess staffordshire. see you soon davie
